Video shows Southern California teen bravely shove a bear off of a garden wall to protect her dogs

Two bear cubs are seen behind the bear while four smaller dogs bark and dart around the yard.

Video of the terrifying encounter shows that the appearance of the family of California black bears on the short wall set off one of Morinico's dogs, which began barking and lunging at them. "I was like "It's an animal and it's taking my child" and I pushed the bear".

The mother bear is clawing at the dogs whenever they come near until Hailey appears.

"Morinico's mother posted on Facebook that her daughter "'Just saved our dog with super human strength", describing the scene as, "for me one of the scariest moments in life'. Morinico escaped with a small scratch, and she and all of her dogs are doing fine. There are more than 110k comments on the video and has been liked by 5.6 million accounts since the video was first posted on Sunday, May 31.

A Southern California teen pushed a bear off a wall after it got into an encounter with the dogs at the family's home over the weekend.

'She sent the video on our family group chat and I just knew people would think it was insane so I posted it. "Do not push bears". Many shared that they would have been scared to even approach a mother bear with her cubs as they are very aggressive in nature. "How's your Memorial Day?" she captioned the clip.

"I love bears so much however, if I saw a bear attacking my dogs and I had the opportunity to shove it off of a wall in order to get my dogs to safety I wouldn't waste a second of that time to do just that". To be honest, I don't think I pushed her that hard.

She sprained her finger and scraped her knee, but was otherwise unharmed.
