Apex Legends Season 8 Mayhem trailer released

Hunter from BulletVille

Apex Legends' Nintendo Switch release date may have been accidentally revealed ahead of schedule, if a video description of the game's latest trailer is to be believed. The only new addition to that section of the map was Containment, released in season two. However, upon the full reveal of Fuse, NOWWA took the opportunity to field a complaint in correspondence with Nintendo Life, claiming their own character from BulletVille - Hunter - would be called a "ripoff" for being so close in design. While we don't really see any gameplay, or witness - incoming legend - Fuse's abilities, we do get a lot of action!

According to the small indie group, its upcoming game had playtests with publisher Electronic Arts previous year in October and November. "It seems highly unlikely that NOWWA would have had this information almost two years ago". But in order to know for sure what changes are coming to Apex Legends and its maps, we'll have to wait for Respawn to announce more details about season 8 in the near future. We even expect a possible crossover!

The launch trailer for Apex Legends Season 8 - Mayhem released earlier today and it offers quite a bit of information.

Eurozone and United Kingdom trade activity slows sharply as lockdowns wreak havoc
The French manufacturing PMI defied the trend, rising to 51.5 from 51.1, whereas analysts were expecting a decline to 50.6. The services index fell to 45 from 46.4, while the manufacturing index dropped to a 7-month low of 54.5 from 56.3.

On the left is Hunter from NOWWA's BulletVille. Namely, both characters utilize a weapon that works similarly to a rocket launcher.

We've gone to EA and Respawn for comment. There's a chance that this is all just some kind of coincidence, so bear that in mind. On the right is Fuse from Apex Legends. The design for Hunter has been public since May 2019, when NOWWA tweeted about the character's appearance, and followed it up in June with a look at a 3D model.
