Delonte West lands job at therapy center following Mark Cuban intervention

Former NBA veteran Delonte West continues to make strides in his goal to get his life back on the right track.

Back in late September, West had fallen on hard times in his battle with bipolar disorder and substance abuse. West reportedly now has a job working at the rehab center where he received treatment, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

He added in a text message to Reuters: "Coordinating unrest, violence and rebellions has no place on social media". The removal of both apps comes after a mob attack Wednesday on the US Capitol by pro-Trump rioters.

Late previous year, Cuban tweeted out pictures updating West's fans on his recovery journey. He also helped reunite him with his mother, Delphina Addison, after being estranged from his family for sometime. In the months following West's rehab, Cuban has posted positive updates of West's progress.

Of course, West was the 24th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. playing for the SuperSonics, Mavs, Cavs and Celtics. It was also reported that the National Basketball Association attempted to get West "the much needed assistance that he needs", and eventually, Cuban and West's mother convinced him to seek treatment at a rehab center.
