Prince Harry Reacts to Accusations of Him Not Protecting Princess Diana's Legacy

Prince William says new investigation into BBC's Diana interview a 'step in the right direction'

Prince Harry had earlier revealed that he was "very close to a complete breakdown" after the tragic death of his mother in 1997 and sought counselling four years ago to deal with the "total chaos".

The inquiry will look into allegations that Bashir forged bank documents to coerce Princess Diana into participating in the tell-all "Panorama" interview where she famously said, "There were three of us in this marriage".

Earl Spencer says he is "not at all satisfied" with the parameters of an inquiry into the controversy surrounding the BBC Panorama interview with his sister Diana, Princess of Wales.

"You don't have to make a public statement to imagine how he is feeling personally, people know how much his mother means to him".

The Duke of Sussex considers the investigation into Martin Bashir's interview with his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, a "drive for truth", it emerged as he signalled that he backs his brother on the subject.

"He has bravely spoken out in the past about loss and grief, and the huge impact it has had on him", the Vanity Fair source said.

"Sadly, some people are not just seeing this as a drive for truth, but also trying to use this as an opportunity to try to drive a wedge between the brothers", the person said.

The broadcaster has appointed a retired judge, Lord Dyson, former master of the rolls, to lead an investigation into the Diana interview.

Bharti Singh: Indian comedian arrested after cannabis found in raid
Neither Kapil Sharma nor any of Bharti's other co-stars such as Archana Puran Singh have reacted to her sensational arrest yet. The Mumbai Zonal Unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau raided the house of comedian actress Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh.

On Thursday, Prince William publicly welcomed the investigation into the interview, describing it as a "step in the right direction".

Prince Harry reportedly believes some media outlets are using the new scandal surrounding Princess Diana to "drive a wedge" between him and Prince William. "Lord Dyson must be free to examine every aspect of this matter, from 1995 to today, as he sees fit", so he tweeted on November 20. This will include looking at the mocked up bank statements, alleged payments to members of the royal household, and other issues raised by Earl Spencer.

The BBC said it will publish the investigation's findings after its conclusion.

The BBC's current director-general, Tim Davie, said the broadcaster commissioned the independent investigation "to get to the truth about these events".

The BBC announced a new investigation.

He is later shown taking part in a surveillance operation, ordered by Prince Charles, to establish if the Princess is secretly meeting a suspected lover, such as James Hewitt.

According to the BBC, he's unable to address the controversy as he is now recovering from heart surgery and complications of COVID-19. Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Fayed were killed in a tragic vehicle crash in a Paris underpass on August 31, 1997, along with their French driver Henri Paul as they tried to outrun chasing photographers.
