Navalny poisoning: Russian opposition leader released from German hospital after 32 days

Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said the Kremlin welcomes Navalny's discharge from the hospital, as usual without referring to him by name.

The hospital said that, based on Navalny's progress, the physicians treating him believe that "complete recovery is possible", but added that it "remains too early to gauge the potential long-term effects of his severe poisoning".

Berlin says tests in Germany, France and Sweden have determined Mr Navalny was poisoned with a Novichok nerve agent and the West has demanded an explanation from Russian Federation.

Apart from that, Russia's mission to the OPCW also reached out to the leadership of the worldwide organization, asking it to release all Navalny-related information it has to the member states, effectively making it public.

"Before they allowed me to go to Germany, they took all my clothes off and I was sent there completely naked", he said in a statement.

Le Monde, which said Macron had rejected Putin's hypotheses, reported that the Russian leader had told Macron that Navalny was a troublesome blogger who had tried to blackmail government officials with corruption allegations and that it was worth exploring whether Latvia had any involvement in the case. "My plans are pretty simple: physiotherapist every day".

Charite hospital said Navalny's condition had improved sufficiently for him to be discharged from acute inpatient care.

Russia's mission to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has asked Germany to provide all data related to the alleged poisoning of Alexey Navalny and to make it public.

Navalny used social media to sarcastically mock Putin's purported assertion. This has delayed the pre-investigation probe by Russia's prosecutor general, which is necessary in order to determine whether the incident requires a full-fledged criminal probe or not.

South Korea official shot dead by North Korean troops
The South Korean military's surveillance equipment set up on the island detected the flames at around 10:11 p.m. The defence ministry also warned the DPRK that "all responsibilities for this incident lie with it".

Amid his recovery, his spokeswoman Kira Yarmysh has said the opposition leader planned to return to Russian Federation.

Navalny aides said Thursday that German experts found Novichok nerve agent on a water bottle taken from the hotel room where he stayed before being taken ill.

In a call with Macron on September 14, Putin suggested that Navalny may have poisoned himself, having produced the Novichok on his own, Le Monde newspaper reported.

Reacting to the report, Navalny said in a sarcastic post on Instagram that "that's a good lead".

Navalny's team has said he eventually plans to return to Russian Federation, but had no immediate statement after his release from the hospital.

"I cooked Novichok in the kitchen".

"To die in the Omsk hospital and wind up in the Omsk morgue, where they would have determined the cause of death as "he lived long enough" - that was the goal of my cunning plan". "But Putin outmaneuvered me". "As a result, I lay in coma for 18 days like a fool, but didn't get my way".
