Days after he broke the internet by accidentally leaking NSFW photos on social media, Chris Evans expertly addressed the situation on Monday, Sept. 14, tweeting, "Now that I have your attention..."

The mishap occurred when the actor shared a now-deleted video of his family playing a game of "Heads Up" on his Instagram Story on Saturday, according to EOnline. On the camera roll, viewers were able to see a photo of a penis as well as a meme with the phrase "guard that pussy" written over a photo of Evans.

Avengers star Chris Evans bravely fronted up to his first live TV interview since his headline-making X-rated social media gaffe over the weekend.

Chris Evans, 39, went radio silent on social media over the weekend, after he accidentally posted a private photo on Instagram on September 12.

"It was a very interesting weekend full of lessons learned".

"Could humankind pls eventually come together with this 1 thing and only pretend nothing happened". The 39-year-old tweeted, "Now that I have your attention [shrug emoji].VOTE Nov 3rd!"

Chris Evans is looking for the silver lining - and turning an unfortunate viral moment into a call to action.

Evans' brother Scott also poked fun at the incident on social media: "Was off social media for the day yesterday", he wrote. "So".
