Richard Sherman: Cam Newton's Patriots deal is 'ridiculous'

An old Bill Belichick speech shows that Cam Newton will fit in just fine with the Patriots

"I just think what we have seen coming out of New England for the past, let's say 20 years, there is going to be a change in New England", Moss continued.

Newton's contract with the Patriots includes base pay of slightly more than $1 million for the 2020 season, the minimum veteran salary. But Buffalo isn't just going to stroll into that title.

The most recent NFL Divisional odds now have the Patriots as comfortable favorites to repeat the division once again - as they're transitioning from one former NFL Most Valuable Player to another at the quarterback position.

Iran asks Interpol to help arrest Trump for killing general
Iran has also asked Interpol, the French-based global police agency, for help in acquiring the politician. Soleimani was killed by a US drone attack on January 3 outside Baghdad's worldwide airport.

The video then goes on to show some of Cam's awards and contributions on and off the field here in Charlotte and ends with a logo of the New England Patriots.

Is the addition of Newton enough for the Patriots to stay on top of the division in 2020? Jeff Howe of The Athletic has Newton ready to compete for the starting job and could put the Patriots back into the contenders category.

Sherman might have a point in National Football League teams undervaluing Newton, but a one-year deal with the Patriots with a chance to start under Belichick is about as good as it gets for a quarterback searching for a job in late June.
