Harry Kane admits he could Tottenham

Berbatov urges Spurs fans not to judge Mourinho until next season

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has said the Premier League season should be scrapped if clubs can not play matches by June.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, England captain Harry Kane has said that the Premier League season should be scrapped if it can not be completed by the end of June.

Elite football in the United Kingdom is now suspended until April 30 at the earliest as the country bids to combat the spread of the coronavirus, with the conclusion of the campaign remaining uncertain at present.

There is no clear idea about when or if football will be able to resume, but Euro 2020 has been cancelled, which opens a window to bring domestic seasons to a conclusion in the summer.

Tottenham now sit in 8 place in the Premier League following a disappointing campaign with Kane out injured since picking up a hamstring knock against Southampton on New Year's Day.

In a Q&A Instagram session with Jamie Redknapp, Kane said: "I get asked this a lot (asked about his future)".

"I think he wants to win at Tottenham but he can only stay for so long without winning trophies". But there needs to be a point where enough is enough.

Peak US death rate likely in two weeks
The president then attempted to make a disparaging remark to Alcindor for leaving The New York Times to join PBS. Hospitals in the most afflicted areas are straining to handle patients and some are short of critical supplies.

When asked for comment on Monday a Tottenham spokesperson told Sky Sports News: "We are not going to discuss this or any player position whilst we focus on protecting the club and jobs and working with the council to support those affected by Covid-19".

"Harry Kane is gone, trust me, he's gone, you might see him for one more season and then my man is gone". But obviously I don't know too much about behind the scenes and financially.

The Belgium worldwide is due to become a free agent at the end of June, although whether that will change due to the coronavirus pandemic remains to be seen.

The London club have struggled since Pochettino's departure and are now lying eighth under Jose Mourinho, in danger of missing out on European football altogether next season.

"I'm excited to see how that relationship unfolds and see what we can do on the pitch".

The leading English footballing figure makes the comments as the English Premier League and leagues across Europe now lie suspended due to the global health crisis. "But that's just my opinion", he said.
