London is getting ANOTHER storm this weekend

A yellow weather warning has been issued for the East of England

Met Éireann have issued a nationwide Status Yellow rain warning with Storm Dennis to wreak havoc this weekend.

"There is a possibility that there will be wind warnings and rainfall warnings for periods over the weekend", she said.

Bury St Edmunds park run on Saturday has been cancelled, along with Haughley Park's Spectacle of Light on the same day.

Storm Dennis follows Storm Ciara last weekend which blocked roads and railways with fallen trees and led to flooding in some parts, with big waves on the coast. It's going to bring with it severe gales and stormy conditions eastwards.

"The location and strength of the strongest winds is uncertain at this stage, but there is a small chance that winds will gust up to 70 miles per hour for a time".

He added: "Details of any wind-based closures for the bridges on trunk road network are available from the Traffic Scotland service".

CDC: Coronavirus test kits shipped across U.S. are faulty
This is the first person under quarantine at JBSA-Lackland who had symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus, the agency said. So far, 175 people on the ship have been infected with the virus - the largest single outbreak cluster outside of China.

This is less severe than the alerts in place for other regions, though travellers are advised to exercise caution. Plan your journey in advance and allow extra time.

There is also an amber warning for rain on high land to the west of York on the Yorkshire Dales, which could then feed in to York's already high river levels.

The Environment Agency said there is a "heightened risk of flooding" across much of southern, central and northern England this weekend.

Just a week before, Storm Ciara had unleashed fury over many parts of the United Kingdom and resulted in heavy rains, snow and windy conditions.

"Some flooding is likely and damaging gusty winds with some disruption possible".

The Met Office says that properties could be flooded, driving conditions could be hard, and there's the possibility of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.
