She's back. Two years after leaving Washington, Trump's former communications director Hope Hicks is reportedly returning to the White House as a "counselor to the president".

Hicks, who left the White House in March 2018, will work closely with Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, according to a senior administration official.

Hicks' return comes as longtime former personal aide John McEntee, who was removed in 2018, rejoined the White House to run the White House Presidential Personnel Office.

"There is no one more devoted to implementing President Trump's agenda than Hope Hicks", Kushner said in a statement to the newspaper.

"She has always impressed me with her quiet confidence, loyalty and expertise, and I am beyond thrilled to welcome Hope back to the White House". In 2015, Trump named Hicks the press secretary for his potential presidential campaign, a role she continued to serve in throughout the 2016 election cycle.

Hicks left the White House in March 2018 amid increasing scrutiny of the president's handling of former special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into his campaign's ties to Russian Federation.

The request, signed by various evacuees in Wuhan, China, includes a cover page which reads,"Suggestion Letter to CDC". The suspension affects all flights between United's USA hubs and Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Hicks, one of Trump's most trusted aides, served as White House communications director until resigning in February 2018 when she was appointed communications chief at Fox.

"This is something she's been thinking about for a while", Sanders said at the time. She worked to defend him when charges of domestic abuse against his two former wives emerged. The White House also blocked Hicks from turning over documents subpoenaed by the committee.

Hicks, 31, worked for both Ivanka Trump's ill-fated fashion line and the Trump Organization before serving as press secretary when the real estate mogul launched his 2016 campaign.

However, Hicks remained in close contact with Kushner and other top White House aides.

She first became Trump's communications director in the summer of 2017 following the departure of Anthony Scaramucci, who served in the position for ten days.
