Joe Burrow Claims OBJ Gave Him Real Money Amid Investigation

Odell Beckham celebrates LSU's win vs. Clemson

Beckham, who attended LSU and plays for the NFL's Cleveland Browns, was seen handing out wads of cash to various players on the field at the Louisiana Superdome after the school's 42-25 win over the Clemson Tigers on Monday night.

Beckham was caught on video handing what appeared to be a stack of bills to wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jontre Kirklin.

During the postgame celebration, National Football League receiver and LSU alum Odel Beckham Jr. was seen on video giving out $100 bills to receivers Justin Jefferson and Jontre Kirklin right in front of photographers and media members.

"It was a joke", LSU associate athletic director Robert Munson first told reporters Tuesday. They said they plan to interview both players according to USA TODAY.

WNBA's 8-year labor deal to hike average salary to $130000
WNBA players will receive better pay , more marketing opportunities and increased family benefits as part of the new agreement . The trailblazing benefits would also include a dedicated area in stadiums for nursing mothers, and a $5,000 child care stipend.

On Wednesday, despite LSU officials claiming the money Beckham handed out was fake, Joe Burrow says OBJ did, in fact, give him real money after winning the national championship. Giving money to the players on the field while everyone is standing around with cameras isn't smart.

Players are not permitted to accept monetary gifts, so that would be a violation of NCAA rules.

During his appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast which aired Wednesday morning, Burrow was asked about Beckham handing him cash. As the officer in the video was lecturing senior offensive guard Damien Lewis, Beckham could be seen walking behind the officer and slapping (or mock-slapping) his backside.

Beckham's actions obviously garnered a lot of attention. Plus, exclusive news and analysis every day.
