Sergio Agüero breaks two Premier League records in Manchester City win

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola

Kevin De Bruyne has hailed Sergio Aguero as football's low-key superstar after the Manchester City star became the Premier League's record overseas goalscorer.

Manchester City were leading 2-0 and it was Sergio Aguero who made it 3-0 with a thunderous shot from outside of the penalty area.

Aguero scored a hat-trick against Aston Villa to surpass Thierry Henry's record of 175 goals, and also go past Alan Shearer's hat-trick record with his 12th treble in the top flight.

"They are the favourites but I am happy to see someone upsetting the big teams, even though I used to play for the big teams, I want to see someone really test City and make things hard for them, but I think they will have too much for Villa on this occasion". He's not somebody you hear about all the time.

Kansas City Chiefs: Don’t overlook Texans in Divisional Round
It was an incredible string of events to follow a start that put the Chiefs in their biggest deficit of the season. The # 1 seed, led by MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, was defeated on Saturday night between 28 and 12.

'I think it's nice for him. 'Sergio has been here for nine years or so and to do that on a consistent basis for that long is... wow.

Shearer's record of most Premier League goals (260) is still very much safe though, and Aguero has the likes of Wayne Rooney (208) and Andy Cole (187) ahead of him in the all-time goalscoring charts.

'It's so hard to compare but the records for both speak for themselves.

'It's not always necessary to compare people, just be happy and grateful that these guys have played here.
