Meghan returns to Canada as British royals seek to solve Harry rift

Prince Harry wife Meghan stun British monarchy by quitting as royal front-line members

The Duchess of Sussex has returned to Canada as teams for the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William began work to find a "workable solution" over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's future in the royal family, following their bombshell announcement earlier this week.

Both Markle and Prince Harry are now returning to Canada to be with Archie, says People.

According to The Sun, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had always been planning their exit from the royal family and wanted to show courtesy by first discussing their plans. He said the Royal Family also probably didn't expect the couple to share background information on their website regarding how they would become financially independent and interact with the media.

The royal rift has exposed more divisions within the British monarchy, which was rocked in November by Prince Andrew's disastrous television interview about his relationship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

"Alongside the rest of the world we are reacting to the surprising news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be stepping back as senior Royals", the museum's general manager, Steve Davies, said in a statement.

They said the decision was taken after months of reflection and discussion, and that they would split their time between the United Kingdom and North America to allow their family the space it needs.

Chris Hemsworth and his family are not the only celebrities who have stepped up to try to make a difference in Australia . Elton John also said he will donate $ 1 million for fire assistance, an announcement he made during a concert in Sydney.

Aside from purchasing a new home in Los Angeles (and maybe Canada), Harry and Meghan will need to pay for security around the clock.

While she may have had nothing to do with it all, it makes sense that there are such rumors floating around since she and the royal couple are pretty close. Further reports from BBC and The Mirror claim that the royal duo did not consult the palace before making their decision-and further claimed that other members of the royal family are "disappointed".

Harry has remained behind to manage the crisis the pair's move sparked. "We understand their desire to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through", the Palace stated.

The move, being dubbed on social media as #Megxit, appears to have wrongfooted Royal family members, including the queen.

Meghan and Harry used the same language in their own statement.

Camera IconPrince Charles is said to have been unaware his son was going to make his monumental announcement yesterday. The connection between The Duchess and these women began a year prior, as she supported them in the creation of "Together", a charity cookbook which celebrates the power of cooking to bring communities together.
