World leaders appear to mock Trump at North Atlantic Treaty Organisation reception in viral video

World leaders caught on tape, apparently mocking US President Donald Trump

Trump says he called out Trudeau for not paying 2 percent of Canada gross domestic product into NATO's defense spending.

When Trump was asked about it during a bilateral meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, he said of Trudeau, "He's two-faced".

"I do think it's a security risk, it's a security danger", Mr Trump said in response to a question on Huawei, although the leaders' declaration did not refer to the company by name.

Trump's one-on-one meeting with Macron was remarkably tense as the French President refused to back down from remarks that Trump called "nasty" and "insulting".

But as he sat next to Trudeau in front of reporters on Tuesday, Trump was asked if he was "happy with Canadian defense spending as it is right now", and said he was "satisfied" with Canada's increased levels of spending. Although Trudeau was one of the first world leaders to congratulate Trump on his election victory in 2016, the two men quickly found themselves on opposite sides of nearly every major global issue, including tariffs, climate change and trade.

Trump's public appearance with Trudeau lasted more than half an hour and included questions about China and the impeachment process and also saw the Canadian prime minister trying to deflect questions from the USA president about Canada's defence spending. Several seem to have been caught in an unguarded exchange on camera apparently gossiping about U.S. President Donald Trump's behavior.

Trump also complained that Democrats leading the first House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearing back in Washington were trying to weaken him on the world stage. "So I can imagine he's not that happy".

Australia to face Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay in 2020 Copa America
Asian Cup holder Qatar has been drawn in Group B and will face co-hosts Colombia , defending champions Brazil , Ecuador , Peru and Venezuela .

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stopped short of withholding approval for an updated Baltic defence plan unless his allies agreed to brand the YPG which is an affiliate of the PKK, a recognised terrorist organisation from also being recognised as a terrorist outfit.

"I'm representing the U.S. And he should be paying more than he's paying".

When Trump said all those times before he became president that the world was laughing at America, he was wrong.

Trump, who cited in particular Germany as falling short for spending only 1.2 percent of GDP, held lunch talks with the so-called "two percenters". "I didn't expect that reaction, but that's OK", he added to more laughter and some applause. The summit will happen in Watford, outside London. The prime minister's conservative allies anxious Trump's embrace could damage Johnson ahead of crucial parliamentary elections next week.

Johnson can be heard asking France's President Emmanuel Macron: "Is that why you were late?" "A senior member of the Royal Family in the mix.wow", he wrote on Twitter.

The president's decision to leave early comes amid a flap over a hot-mic video that appears to show leaders of allied countries mocking Mr. Trump.

Despite the divisions, Mr Johnson - the host of the event - described North Atlantic Treaty Organisation as a "giant shield of solidarity" that "protects almost a billion people", saying at the start of the meeting at a luxury resort in Watford: "As long as we stand together, no-one can hope to defeat us". Macron used the opportunity to dispute Trump's claim that the threat from Islamic State had been all but eliminated.
