Prince Harry and Meghan pay tribute to 12 'Christmas' charities

Among the 12 charities is Centrepoint, a charity focused on combating homelessness, of which Harry's brother Prince William is royal patron, after he took over the duty from his late mother Princess Diana.

'There are, fortunately, so many organisations around the globe doing good on world and grassroots ranges, lots of which aren't on Instagram. So, while there is bound to be a lot of hoopla surrounding her absence of this visit, we're choosing to embrace the peaceful spirit of the season and assume Meghan and Trump's timing is just simply not in sync.

"Continuing our monthly tradition of highlighting accounts that do good, and inspired by the "Twelve Days of Christmas" - we have selected twelve organisations caring for those in need - especially at this time of year", they captioned a collage of photos from the charities.

"Check out the accounts we have chosen and please share those in your own communities that are making a difference".

'We would savor to listen to about the ones that encourage you - so please recount us and add your nation's flag!'

Nonetheless, different studies claimed that the household might have spent Thanksgiving within the United Kingdom, with Meghan volunteering at a homeless shelter close to her Windsor house. While Harry attended a private lunch with the Trump family - where onlookers said that he noticeably "hung back" from the first family - Meghan opted out of the official events, as their visit came less than a month after she had given birth to her first child, Archie Harrison.

Other officers responded to the classroom and began talking with the suspect in an attempt to deescalate the situation. They told reporters outside the school that they knew it wasn't a drill when they heard two or three gunshots.

The couple are skipping Christmas at Sandringham with the Queen and spending it with Meghan's mother Doria Ragland.

"The Duke and Duchess have a full schedule of engagements and commitments until mid-November, after which they will be taking some much-needed family time", a royal source told People.

A third person added: "We actually call it Christmas and New Year in the United Kingdom". "This decision is in line with precedent set previously by other members of the Royal Family, and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen".

This Christmas is Meghan and Harry's first with their son Archie, who was born in May.

On Friday, Meghan and Harry wished their followers on Instagram a Happy Thanksgiving.

It comes because the couple proceed their six-week rupture from royal responsibilities, and sparked rumours on Wednesday that they could be in Canada after they uploaded a post containing a maple leaf emoji.
