'Doctor Who' Gets Season 12 Premiere Date - Jodie Whittaker Returns

Amelia Pond (Karen Gillan) might have waited longer for her Raggedy Doctor (Matt Smith) than we've waited to find out when Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor will return for more adventures in the TARDIS, but it certainly feels like we've been waiting years and years. Big crisis. Serious crisis. As Jodie Whittaker takes charge of the TARDIS once again, the Doctor will be joined by her friends Tosin Cole (Ryan), Mandip Gill (Yaz) and Bradley Walsh (Graham).

The season return, set for 8 p.m. Starting with a blockbuster, action-packed two-part episode entitled Spyfall, the Thirteenth Doctor is well and truly back with a bang.

Winter Storm Warnings Expand Ahead of Monday Mess
Also in South Dakota, a small-engine plane carrying 12 people crashed, killing nine aboard and leaving three others injured. Tractor-trailers were banned or lower speed limits put in place on stretches of highway in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Previously announced guest stars for the thrilling new season of Doctor Who include British institution Stephen Fry (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Bit of Fry and Laurie), Sir Lenny Henry CBE (Broadchurch, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban), Goran Višnji? And if the thought of waiting a full week between episodes is too much to bear, Deadline says that BBC America has partnered with BBC Studios and Fathom Events to simulcast both parts of the premiere in 600 theaters across the US on January 5, 2020. This exclusive fan experience will be transmitted live from The Paley Center in NY to big screens across the country. "Casting a woman won't change it, but I'm quite nervous".

"Since the first Doctor regenerated back in 1966, the concept of the Doctor as a constantly evolving being has been central to the program". "The Doctor is an alien from the planet Gallifrey and it has been established in the show that Time Lords can switch gender".
