Disney+ says it’s working to ‘quickly resolve’ its launch-day streaming issues

As Disney release hundreds of titles from nearly a century of movie-making on its new streaming service, the media conglomerate is issuing warnings across many of its older films which may have scenes considered culturally insensitive by today's standards. That doesn't just mean the latest Disney content or a handful of favorites - we're talking from Steamboat Willie to Wreck it Ralph, along with Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic, Pixar, and so much more.

Disney+ is not yet offered worldwide, but is being rolled out to the US, Canada and the Netherlands first. (Since Disney+ is intended largely to be a family-oriented product, given their content, having multiple options for one account makes flawless sense.) Just like Netflix, Disney+ lets you choose a specific icon to represent your personal profile, so don't worry if your sibling or significant other likes Buzz Lightyear better than Anna or Elsa. That service now has 3.5 million subscribers.

If you were planning to join Disney+ today to watch the new Star Wars saga The Mandalorian, we have some bad news for you. It released with a large roster of legacy Disney content, as well as the original Star Wars show The Mandalorian. You can opt for the $6.99/month plan or $69.99/year plan (which saves you roughly $13 a year).

If you're yet to do it, here's our guide to Disney Plus sign up options. You're essentially getting one of those services for free, so you might as well take advantage of it.

Where can I watch Disney+?

Afghan government to release key Taliban figure
Anas Haqqani the younger brother of the Haqqani network chief Sirajuddin Haqqani. The peace talks have been aimed at ending the United States' longest war.

Weirdly, you might need to tweak your spelling of "Disney Plus" to find it. Try "Disney Plus", "Disney+" "Disney +", and even "disneyplus" as different app stores have it listed under different names.

What movies and TV shows does it include?

The Disney+ video streaming service is now available via apps on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Disney+ has more than 1,000 titles in its library and more than 12 new original TV shows, specials movies that are exclusive to Disney+. Within hours of gaining access to the streaming service, Canadians all across the country were experiencing outages that were preventing them from streaming their favourite classics.

For now. Disney titles on other streaming services, like Netflix, will be removed on January 1, 2020, and only be viewable on Disney+.
