Details of Chase Young's NCAA violation emerge with girlfriend twist

ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit said this morning that the Buckeyes are expecting a four-game suspension for their defensive star, stemming from a personal loan Young used to fly his girlfriend to last year's Rose Bowl.

Nobody seems to be on the side of the NCAA, and that includes LeBron James.

Some help from a family friend could cost Ohio State's Chase Young the rest of the regular season.

That latter claim conflicts with multiple reports that the loan came from an NFLPA-certified agent. Per The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, he accepted a small loan from a family friend in order to buy his girlfriend a plane ticket to last year's Rose Bowl, which he has since repaid. "And since y'all always wanna know more he paid it back to his family member". They don't care about them kids at all. "Only about how they can make them money", James wrote on Twitter.

Man City boss Guardiola
During that season, it felt that neutrals from all over England were saying they didn't want United to win another league title. Being defensive was not the plan, it was so good that they pushed us deep.

It is a school's decision to play, or not play, an athlete, according to the NCAA. That would mean he'd be out for PSU's trip to Ohio Stadium on November 23 and also games against Maryland, Rutgers, and MI.

The Ohio State Department of Athletics said in a statement that Young would sit out for Saturday's game against the Maryland Terrapins "due to a possible NCAA issue from 2018 that the Department of Athletics is looking into".

The NCAA prohibits student-athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness, but it's unclear exactly what rule Young violated.

At 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds, Young is considered a potential No. 1 pick in next spring's National Football League draft if he decides to forgo his final season of eligibility with the Buckeyes.
