Samsung files Space Zoom trademark for the Galaxy S11 camera

Galaxy S11 Galaxy S11 Hubble Galaxy S11 leaks. Galaxy S11 news Galaxy S11 periscope camera

Earlier this week, a rumor surfaced that Samsung refers to the camera of the Galaxy S11 as Hubble. In particular, we're getting more apparent leaks about the device's camera. The Galaxy S11 smartphone is codenamed "Picasso". Hubble is a telescope that was sent to space to capture distant galaxies.

Opting for a second-gen version of Samsung's 108MP lens would also make sense, since the original version has on a Xiaomi handset first, so it won't be a totally new thing by the time the Samsung Galaxy S11 launches, Techradar reported on Monday.

This function is called a "hybrid zoom" because it combines optical zoom (done with the physical camera) with digital zooming and software in order to improve results. It's nearly certain that this sensor will also be included on the Galaxy S11.

Elon Musk Reveals Tesla Cybertruck Release Date, More Details On Appearance
In last month's quarterly conference call, Musk called the truck, which he terms the Tesla Cybertruck , "our best product ever". At the time, Musk tweeted that a pickup truck would be unveiled in 18 to 24 months.

As well as a brand new camera, Samsung is likely to include 5G compatibility and its new premium mobile processor, the Exynos 990 chip, and the new Exynos Modem 5123, two devices that are created to work together in order to "empower tomorrow's mobile devices with unprecedented performance and efficiency".

Yesterday, the company filed paperwork for the trademark Space Zoom at the European Union Intellectual Property Office EUIPO.

The Galaxy S11 is rumored to sport a periscope-style camera system, with insane zoom capability. Despite that, Samsung's cameras have come a long way and their latest Galaxy S10 offers one of the best photography experiences on smartphone to date.
