Brown fires off profanity-filled tweet at NFL

Antonio Brown has gone on another social media tirade about quitting the NFL

Also on Thursday, multiple media outlets reported the league's intention to meet with Brown next week in regard to its investigation into those allegations. The meeting is now scheduled to take place next Thursday (November 14). Before these days, it was uncovered that Brown was served papers in his sexual assault case and that he would be conference with the league to discuss the allegations in opposition to him.

In October, Brown sent out a two-word tweet that seemed to be directed at the NFL. He was signed by the Patriots but was cut a few weeks later, after Taylor's lawsuit became public. Sources told ESPN that Brown was eager to give his testimony because teams have expressed an interest in signing him if and when the league drops its investigation.

"Imagine conforming to a system giving it a 100% to see them treat me like this is unfairly [sic]!" "I'll never play in that. treat black people the worse!" "Clear my name and go f-k yourself". The NFL has already spoken to Taylor, who initially sued Brown in federal court, but has since dropped that lawsuit and refiled in Broward County, Florida civil court. The first accusation wasn't made public until after Brown had essentially forced his release from the Oakland Raiders following a weird series of events which included a helmet spat, a cryotherapy injury and an altercation with GM Mike Mayock. In a Sports Illustrated article, she detailed a 2017 incident where, while in Brown's home kneeling while working on a mural he had commissioned, she turned to find him standing naked before her with a small towel over his genitals. Seattle ultimately signed another former Patriot, wide receiver Josh Gordon.

Big weather changes for NJ: Rain Thursday, much colder Friday
Wind chill temperatures will drop into the teens, so, make sure the kids have the heavy coat at the bus stop in the morning. And we're not even talking about snow - as we've discussed all week, Thursday night's snow potential is very limited.

Brown hasn't played since, and has not signed with another team. He subsequently forced himself out of the Bay Area after a string of freakish incidents over the summer, including a reported physical run-in with Raiders general manager Mike Mayock.

It took only a few hours for Brown to walk back those comments with another tweet, saying, "I'm determined to make my way back to the National Football League". Brown has denied the allegations.

Brown played in one game this season, Week 2 against the Dolphins, after a drama-filled offseason with the Oakland Raiders that led to a short-lived stint in New England.
