SC stuns No. 3 Georgia in double overtime, 20-17

South Carolina looks to hit the ground running vs Georgia

SC quarterback Ryan Hilinski left the team's game against Georgia on Saturday after taking a hit to his left knee in the third quarter.

The Gamecocks picked off Jake Fromm three times, including one on Georgia's first overtime possession, to help earn the shocking road victory despite losing starting quarterback Ryan Hilinski to injury.

Thankfully South Carolina's defense bailed him out and sent the game into overtime, but the damage had already been done.

Fromm completed only 28 of his 51 passes for 295 yards and a touchdown with three interceptions, including the first pick-six of his career late in the first half, which ultimately proved crucial in a tight matchup.

American Airlines Extends Cancellation of Boeing 737 MAX Flights Until January
Regulators are still reviewing proposed software changes to the grounded plane with no certain timetable for the jet's return. The largest US-based operator of the Max, Southwest Airlines, has removed the aircraft from its schedules through January 5.

Hilinski and Edwards had previously connected for a 47-yard touchdown pass to give USC an early lead, and the Gamecocks took a surprising 17-10 lead into halftime despite coming into the contest as 23.5-point underdogs.

With the game tied 17-17 with 40 seconds remaining, Muschamp opted to attempt a 57-yard field goal instead of going for it on fourth-and-3.

Georgia was able to get to overtime after a questionable decision by SC head coach Will Muschamp. An illegal shift penalty then moved the Bulldogs out of field goal range and the game went to overtime.
