RAV4 Plug-in teased ahead of its official debut

RAV4 Plug-in teased ahead of its official debut

Toyota has announced that it will extend its hybrid battery warranty to 10 years or 150,000 miles (241,401 km) up from the previous eight-year or 100,000 mile (160,934 km) warranty.

Rather than focusing purely on the fuel economy benefits of the current RAV4 Hybrid, Toyota has chosen to also emphasize the performance advantages of the electrified variant, which is more powerful, slightly faster and a more enjoyable drive than the non-hybrid.

Pricing for the 2020 RAV4 Hybrid starts at $29,220 including the $1,120 destination charge, rising up to $37,750 for the Limited trim level.

In addition to coming out with a lengthier warranty period for its hybrid batteries, Toyota is also coming out with a new plug-in hybrid model.

According to the Japanese carmaker, all the 2020 models will offer an upgraded battery warranty of 8 years/150,000 miles from the standard 8 years/100,000 miles.

Visa, EBay, Stripe and Mastercard Abandon Facebook’s Libra Project
But both Visa and Mastercard made it clear from the onset that their interest in Libra was at least partly out of curiosity. Notably, none of these five companies have rejected the possibility of working with the Libra Association in the future.

"Toyota introduced the first hybrid vehicle in the world more than 20 years ago, but people still have hesitations about owning a hybrid vehicle", the company was reported by Motor1 as saying in a statement. The combination makes 219 horsepower.

The presentation will be live-streamed on the Internet, and the crossover will be finished in Supersonic Red for the exterior palette. And it's time for it to get a plug-in hybrid version, which is claimed to be called as the most powerful RAV4 till date.

Further details surrounding the 2021 RAV4 will show up in November during the LA show.

"Other RAV4 Hybrid models now have different wait times and we urge customers to contact their dealer to discuss options".
