Fortnite "Chapter 2" posted early on the Italian iOS store

Fortnite Chapter Two

Past seasons in Fortnite haven't been afraid to bring insane changes to the map or massive, limited time events, so the idea of renaming the game indicates something really big is shifting, possibly in a more permanent sense.

It also wouldn't be too big of a stretch to assume that Season 11 is essentially "Part 2" of Fortnite.

If this new leak is anything to go by, the world-dominating battle royale world of Fortnite might be on the cusp of a major facelift. Normally the season ending events occur ahead of that moment by a few days, allowing online play to continue immediately after they have concluded.

But, if the rumours about the Fortnite event destroying the map are true, then this makes sense.

What are your thoughts on the new map for Fortnite Season 11?

The only way to find out the truth for sure is to watch Fortnite's The End live event, which kicks off this Sunday at 7pm United Kingdom time.

For those in other regions that's 2pm eastern time and 11am pacific time.

Epic haven't released any teasers as it could potentially spoilt the result of the Season 10 live rocket launch event.

First man to conduct spacewalk, Alexei Leonov, dies aged 85
Leonov's 12-minute spacewalk preceded the first USA spacewalk, by Ed White , by less than three months. His death was announced Friday, Oct. 11, by Roscosmos , Russia's space agency.

And downtime is then expected to follow, with server maintenance ahead of a new Fortnite Battle Pass launch typically lasting up to three hours.

All these clues point to Fortnite getting a huge overhaul.

The leaked promotional images show several Fortnite characters standing on the edge of a cliff, overlooking what appears to be a brand new area of the game.

Introducing a brand new map could be a real shot in the arm for Fortnite, not that it really needs it, given that it's still one of the most popular games in the world - despite a reported 52 percent drop in revenue when compared to past year.

An image spotted on the Italian version of the iOS App Store has reportedly leaked the following image, theoretically giving us an earlier-than-scheduled look at the future of the game beyond its current tenth season. A new leak suggests that Epic Games is gearing up to rebrand the colourful shooter as Fortnite: Chapter 2, with an entirely new map to boot. Firstly, it appears there is a new map involved, which would be highly welcome considering how Fortnite's competitors offer their loyal fans a selection of maps to battle in.

Leaker Hypex tweeted: "Ninja just confirmed on his stream that there will be a brand new UI (menu design) he won't leak it tho lol".

So, if you're having trouble logging into Fortnite around the time of the event then you can always turn to a streamer to watch it live.
