Roark says a man and a woman were shot.

The perpetrator was subdued after some of the 40 wedding attendees tackled him to the ground.

The Pelham Police Department provided active shooter training to members of the church within the past year, Roark said. It's unknown if they were part of the ceremony or guests at the wedding.

A photograph taken by a reporter for WMUR shows at least three emergency response vehicles at the church, as well as multiple police cruisers.

The criminal investigation has been turned over to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and New Hampshire State Police Major Crime investigators.

Officials are looking into whether the shooting is connected to a funeral for a pastor who was shot and killed in Londonderry earlier this week - which was scheduled to take place after the wedding.
