The wait is over! Harry Styles returns with new single and video

On Friday 11 October, now known as the best New Music Friday of all time, Harry Styles returned with his comeback single Lights Up - the first single to be released from his second album.

Styles" last album, the eponymous "Harry Styles", debuted in 2017 to strong reviews, due largely in part to its surprising new sound for the former One Direction singer - gone were the teen idol's iconic pop croonings in favor of a 70s rock "n' roll vibe.

Harry Styles fans, do we have a treat for you!

Earlier this week, Harry teased his new song with mysterious posters that popped up in Australia that featured some of the song's lyrics, "Do You Know Who You Are?".

Kid wanders into live news shot to say hi to mom
The unflappable anchor can be seen continuing her report through smiles while her uncontrollable son vied for a bit of attention. Ms Kube said, smiling during the segment.

In the video, a shirtless Harry dances with a group of men and women, and we just weren't prepared, tbh. He recorded the album at Rick Rubin's Shangri-La with numerous same people he worked with on his self-titled 2017 debut, like producers Jeff Bhasker and Tyler Johnson as well as guitarist Mitch Rowland, drummer Sarah Jones and writer/producer Kid Harpoon.

Twitter has been having a collective meltdown since Styles first hinted that his new album was coming.

"Lights Up" comes together with its personal moody video - watch and hear beneath. "We'd do mushrooms, lie down on the grass, and listen to Paul McCartney's Ramin the sunshine".

The Gypsy songstress told The Face magazine "It's not like anything One Direction ever did. Sorry, I don't make the rules". "Because I also think if we went back to doing things the same way, it wouldn't be the same, anyway".
