Reckless driving caused Kevin Hart auto crash, police say

A man driving Kevin Hart's vintage muscle vehicle recklessly accelerated, causing the crash in Southern California that left him and the driver seriously injured.

Both Kevin Hart and Jared Black suffered back injuries in the accident.

In the statement, Hart addressed the two, saying: "I have nothing but love for Jared and wish him and Rebecca a speedy recovery". Earlier this week, a source told ET that Hart is back home and doing physical therapy with a private therapist.

Furthermore, while there have been reports that Hart is back to work, attorney Andrew Brettler revealed that he only shot promos for the Jumanji sequel for a couple of hours this past week and nothing more!

UAW Strike: General Motors Reportedly Fed Up
GM says it has found other jobs for 2,300 of the 3,000 workers who worked in those plants, but many had to relocate. Meanwhile, direct wage losses for all employees have already surpassed $ 400 million and continues to climb.

Actor Kevin Hart, the recipient of the Comedic Genius Award, poses in the press room at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The driver, Jared Black, was turning on to Mulholland Highway near Malibu before accelerating and losing control of the vehicle, which then veered down an embankment and collided with a tree, the report says.

Officials have determined that reckless driving caused the auto crash that put Kevin Hart in the hospital with major back injuries. It said he violated the law, but did not say whether charges were likely. The sudden acceleration and loss of control apparently caused the auto to go into a spin as it crashed through fencing off Mulholland Highway and into an embankment. The sides were also smashed, and some doors couldn't be opened.

Hart has been off the scene since the accident. First responders had to remove Black and Broxterman, who were trapped inside. Yet, it looks like Kevin Hart is choosing to see "the upside" of this incident. "Jumanji: The Next Level" is scheduled for release in December.
