Ground-breaking new platform launched to support mental health

Royal quartet to voice new TV mental health campaign in broadcasting first

Prince William, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and Kate Middleton have come together for a very special reason that' s near and dear to all of their hearts.

"Something went wrong. Please refresh or try again later", read the message in screenshots obtained by the news broadcaster.

The evidence-based tool, launched today (7 October) by Public Health England (PHE) in partnership with the NHS, is available for health professionals to advise their patients to use and for the public.

"Every Mind Matters will make its debut in a co-branded roadblock broadcast moment, supported by Channel 4's continuity announcements and innovative digital marketing activity".

Public Health England is investigating the crash, which could be due to an increase in traffic.

"Everyone knows that feeling, when life gets on top of us", Prince William can be heard saying in the trailer, while Prince Harry adds: "We feel stressed, low, anxious or have trouble sleeping".

The PSA was written and produced by Richard Curtis, the director of Notting Hill and Love Actually.

'We need to bridge the divide between physical and mental health services to ensure those with severe mental illness and Type 2 diabetes do not have their physical care needs overlooked.

Police arrest climate action protesters blocking Bloor Viaduct
Police said 33 activists were taken to their premises and three were arrested for resisting orders by anti-riot officers. The group's protesters have succeeded before in disrupting life in London in hopes of gaining attention to their cause.

The powerful film features a range of people whose lives have been affected by poor mental health, including a cast of well-known faces: Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Freddie Flintoff, Professor Green, Davina McCall, Jordan Stephens, Will Young, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Nadiya Hussain, Sarah Taylor, Rob Beckett, Katie Piper, Joe Sugg and Alastair Campbell.

Prince Harry and Meghan sparked fears of a royal rift when they cut all ties with The Royal Foundation in May - a charity set up by Prince William and Harry more than a decade ago.

"Prince Harry continues, "...your brother, your mother, your friend, your colleague, your neighbor. Waiting, wondering, hoping, hurting.

"We think there's nothing to be done. There are lots of things they can do to protect themselves and prevent problems escalating, just as we do with our physical health".

The new tool, which has been endorsed by the Royal College of General Practitioners, provides a personalized action plan that incorporates self-care measures to help manage problems such as stress, low mood and difficulty sleeping.

Meghan picks up where her husband leaves off, assuring viewers "there's a new way to help turn things around" when facing mental health struggles.

The collaboration represents the royal four's first campaign together since Harry and Meghan announced their decision to split from the couples' joint Royal Foundation charity in June this year.
