Trump Shares Pastor’s Warning of ‘Civil War-Like Fracture’ If Impeached

Schiff is chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

The whistleblower who raised concerns about President Donald Trump's dealings with Ukraine spoke to staffers on the House Intelligence Committee before filing a formal complaint, giving Democrats advance warning of the accusations of wrongdoing that triggered their impeachment inquiry.

So that explains why the complaint reads like it was drafted by a lawyer: It was drafted by a lawyer at the recommendation of a Democratic staffer working for Adam Schiff. "The whole thing is a scam".

Although Trump wants to learn the identity of the whistleblower, policies have been devised to prevent that.

The New York Times reported Wednesday that a Central Intelligence Agency official went to one of Schiff's aides with his concerns and that the aide passed on to Schiff those concerns, then instructed the official to get legal counsel and file a formal "whistleblower" complaint.

He said that the rough transcript of the Ukraine call, which administration officials made very clear was not an exact transcript, was, in fact, "a transcript done by very, very talented people, word for word, comma for comma, done by people that do it for a living".

When the whistleblower told the committee aide of their concerns, the aide, following congressional rules, suggested the official get a lawyer to advise him to file an official complaint through the USA intelligence community, The Times reported.

"Re-upping my tweet from last week given the breaking news today that Adam Schiff had early access to the whistleblower & DID NOT share it with his own committee - instead he manipulated this information & played partisan political games".

Miley Cyrus reveals 'unconditional love' in candid post

The House began its impeachment investigation into Trump last week. She said that 99.9% of corporate whistleblowers come prepared with documentation and evidence, but that the whistleblower in Trump's case was not on the call in question.

The initial whistleblower complaint was filed last month, and Schiff indicated that it was required by law to be shared with Congress almost two weeks ago. But, whistleblower attorney Bradley Moss said, retaliation for a security infraction of this sort - seeking informal guidance from Congress - is unlikely.

"This person appears to have followed the whistleblower protection laws and ought to be heard out and protected, "Grassley, chairman of the Senate Whistleblower Protection Caucus, said in a statement".

But Trump said Wednesday that if anything needs review, it's the identity and motives of the whistleblower.

The complaint against the president is, however, unprecedented in potential impact.

Most whistleblower complaints are about budgetary concerns or intelligence-gathering issues involving mid-level management, he said.

The lawyer pointed out that England Jr.'s ruling confirmed that a state does not have the authority to establish qualifications to run for president and that that power belongs exclusively to the Constitution.
