George won't make NBA Clippers' debut in October

Paul George was heavily booed by Lakers fans at Bellator 228 in Los Angeles

During the Clippers' media day Sunday, George told NBA TV he was at "85-90ish" percent in his progress but didn't mention an extended absence.

Paul George is still recovering from the surgeries he had on each of shoulders this offseason and it's not clear when his debut for the Clippers will occur.

Still, shoulder surgeries can be especially subject to re-injury and that will remain a concern for the Clippers throughout the year. He had left shoulder surgery in June. "I'll be in camp starting this week".

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne has reported that while there is no set date for his return, George has expressed that he will miss training camp and expects to be back in action by November.

B-17 Crashes at Bradley Airport in CT
The plane had another minor incident during a tour stop in Nebraska in 1995 when part of its landing gear would not lock in place. The left wing and tail appear to be all that remains of the airplane. " We have an active fire and rescue operation underway ".

George averaged 28 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists over 77 games last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Kawhi Leonard - who signed with the Clippers as a free agent in July - said he is entering the season fully healthy. He earned his third All-Star selection and was the NBA Finals MVP after Toronto defeated the Golden State Warriors to win their first-ever NBA championship.

Now just imagine how Leonard and the Clippers will be received during their season opener against the Lakers on October 22.

The Clippers play the Rockets in Hawaii on Friday at 1 a.m. ET.
