South Florida weather forecast: Heavy rain, wind this weekend

By Friday we fall into the lower 90s.

Environmental conditions could become more favorable for development when the system moves into the Gulf of Mexico. But the storm system's track could change those estimates.

The system is producing a cluster of rain and thunderstorms near the Turks and Caicos, and will slowly move northwest over the next several days.

After the scare caused by Hurricane Dorian, Floridians are attempting to stay on top of storm tracking and weather updates at the peak of hurricane season. This system is expected to move west and into unfavorable wind conditions giving it only a 10 percent chance of becoming a tropical depression in the next 48 hours and another 10 percent within the next five days. We will be on the western side of this upper high pressure today, allowing for spotty showers to continue to be in the forecast.

Donald Trump declares Afghan peace talks with Taliban ‘dead’
However Taliban left the doors to talk for peace in Afghanistan open the world has to wait for the next move of, US. The Taliban also indicated that the talks were going well and they were on the verge of signing an agreement.

The forecast says there's a 60 to 80 percent chance of showers starting Thursday. You can get more information about developing a plan and emergency kit at Click2Houston.com/hurricane.

Forecasters raised the probability of development - and raised it again - Wednesday morning for a tropical wave that is now located on the other side of Florida in the Atlantic. Models are in slightly better agreement from yesterday, as the GFS now is leaning with the EURO suggesting that the ridge will limit development and higher rain coverage west of New Orleans. For now, it's a good time to check over your supplies, but generally prepare for more rain Sunday into Monday.

Closer to home, rain chances are low for Wednesday.

Despite possibly weakening, Gabrielle is still forecasted to bring rain and heat to most of the United Kingdom.
