Iranians, Paks, Kashmiris protest India in front of United Nations office in Tehran

The security crackdown and a news blackout were implemented following an August 5th decision by India's Hindu nationalist government to downgrade the Muslim-majority region's autonomy.

The UNSC in its informal consultation on Kashmir on Friday acknowledged India's measures to bring normalcy and development to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, according to India's Permanent Representative Syed Akbaruddin.

The UNSC's members not only rejected Pakistan's demand for a formal meeting.

In the closed-door confabulations, China apparently suggested that an informal outcome be announced through UNSC President Joanna Wronecka.

"The committee on Kashmir has members from all concerned parties, including members of opposition parties". We want to tell the worldwide community that we have doubts about India's intentions.

The Foreign Minister said as for the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, Pakistan's position is based on UN Charter principles and global law and remains unchanged.

Despite the relaxation, the situation is still far from normal in Kashmir. "The world must also seriously consider the safety and security of India's nuclear arsenal in the control of the fascist, racist Hindu supremacist Modi government".

Heather Locklear Admits to Batteries on Deputies, Medic in Thousand Oaks
Locklear reportedly told told deputies that she would shoot them if they ever came to her house again. Locklear was hospitalized a week prior to that arrest after allegedly threatening to kill herself.

For 30 years in the part of Kashmir that it controls, India has been fighting a revolt in which at least 50,000 people have been killed.

Unlike his Chinese and Pakistani counterparts, the Indian ambassador took questions from the media, many of them from aggressive Pakistani and other worldwide journalists. No formal minutes or notes were taken at the meeting, and neither India not Pakistan were present at the deliberations.

One of the officials said Srinagar's main hospital had treated and discharged 12 people with lighter pellet injuries on Saturday, and admitted five with more serious pellet wounds. In the absence of any statement, it's more than evident that the UNSC members didn't find any merit in the allegations and apprehensions levelled by Islamabad regarding New Delhi's actions in J&K and its intent. Singh's statement appeared to have rattled Pakistan, which has never adopted the "no first use" policy itself, despite most of the countries in the world, including China, abiding by it.

"Pakistan is a responsible state, but India has always threatened us". We can go back in history. "...local sources said it was disconnected to keep the peace during a rally by right wing groups", NDTV said.

But even the Chinese intervention, and presentation outside the meeting, was not entirely to Pakistan's satisfaction.

He said the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is to be decided on the basis of the UN Security Council Resolutions and in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people. Zhang joked. "So, we can see how serious the situation is". "So I request everybody, please come and solve this situation". Trump reaffirmed the United States position that nuclear-armed Pakistan and India should reduce tensions through "bilateral dialogue", said White House spokesman Hogan Gidley.

A Kashmiri Muslim woman, left, watches from her house as men hold placards and shout pro-freedom slogans during a demonstration. Pakistan and India both have a claim over Kashmir in its entirety and had three wars over the disputed territory. "Modi is killing innocent terrorists", one protester told TV cameras in a quote that became an instant meme.
