Heather Locklear Admits to Batteries on Deputies, Medic in Thousand Oaks

Locklear was given a suspended sentence of 120 days in jail, so if she doesn't complete the 30 days of treatment. she gets the jail time.

The "Melrose Place" star pleaded no contest to five counts of battery on a peace officer, one count of battery on emergency personnel and two counts of resisting or obstructing police, the Ventura County District Attorney's Office said in a written statement.

Actress Heather Locklear will have to successfully complete a residential treatment program to stay out of jail after she pleaded no contest to eight misdemeanor counts stemming from two confrontations she had at her home with authorities responding to a domestic violence calls.

The judge said Heather must enroll in the treatment program by September 6.

Locklear struggled to turn things around after the arrest, which escalated from when police were initially called to her home on a disturbance report.

She was also placed on three years summary probation.

The Ventura County Sheriff's Department says Heather "battered her boyfriend and he suffered a visible injury" before their arrival. No domestic battery charges were filed against her.

Locklear reportedly told told deputies that she would shoot them if they ever came to her house again. Heather was said to have been heavily intoxicated at the time of the call and was visibly angry when the law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, sources told TMZ.

Locklear was hospitalized a week prior to that arrest after allegedly threatening to kill herself.
