Fortnite World Champion Swatted On Stream

Since winning the Fortnite tournament and walking away with an incredible $3 million (£2.4 million), Bugha has already faced hackers targeting his social media accounts - but this is the first (and hopefully only) time he's been swatted.

Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf, a member of the Sentinels eSports team and recent victor of the Fortnite World Cup Solos Championship, was "swatted" last night while streaming on Twitch. "Giersdorf, of Pottsgrove, Pa. who goes by the name "Bugha" when competing, racked up the most points and won $3 million as the first Fortnite World Cup solo champion.

As spotted by Kotaku, Bugha was streaming (what else) Fortnite live on Twitch last night, when his father entered the room and told him about the armed police at the door.

United States to support post-Brexit Britain with free trade deal, Bolton says
Bolton, in London for two days of talks with British officials, is seeking an improved U.S. "We want to move very quickly". Johnson's spokesman said the Britain wanted the Hong Kong government to engage with all parties in constructive dialogue.

"Swatting" is the act of reporting a made up crime to police with the intent of disrupting and/or harming someone. In 2017, a dispute over a Call of Duty game led to a swatting in which a man was killed by police. Bugha returned to his friends and finished the game. "I've been swatted", he said before disappearing for approximately 10 minutes. The teen could be heard speaking to his father in the background saying, "I've been swatted?"

During the visit, Mr Finch was fatally shot by one of the responding officers. Bugha confirmed that he got swatted and said that he was able to handle the situation quickly because one of the officers recognized him.

"They come in with guns, bro". It's risky; in 2017 a 28-year-old Kansas man was shot and killed in a swatting incident after someone made false reports of a hostage situation.
