Twitter is back up after global outage

Trump's worse nightmare is over Twitter is back up after one hour outage

While the website refers to itself as the front page of the internet, it appears it is now dealing with some sort of issue, as reports from across the globe suggest that people are unable to access the site.

Thursday afternoon, a cryptic error message greeted Twitter users. Twitter is back up after being down for an hour. "We will keep you updated on what's happening".

Social media giant Twitter suffered an hour-long worldwide outage this morning, with users unable to access the platform on both the website and mobile.

"The outage was due to an internal configuration change, which we're now fixing".

EPL: Chelsea Star Player Extends Loan Deal
Lampard will get his second taste of Chelsea management on Friday when his side faces another Irish side, St. Patrick's Athletic, in Dublin.

The hashtag "TwitterDown" was trending as users recalled their experiences. According to Down Detector, a website that tracks outages, problems were reported from the US, Europe and elsewhere.

Outages were so widespread in Twitter's early years that a cartoon "fail whale" the company displayed during outages came to symbolise Twitter nearly as much as its little blue bird icon.

Twitter has not posted updates on their Facebook or Instagram accounts at this point. After all, outages had become far less common. The gathering is mostly of conservative influencers Trump follows who have complained that they are consistently marginalized on the major platforms.

Coincidentally, President Trump is hosting a social media summit at the White House, though Twitter, Google, and Facebook are not in attendance.
