"The video hit social media June 28, launching an investigation that led from Walmart stores in San Antonio to Houston and eventually Lufkin", police in Lufkin wrote on Wednesday.

Since she is a juvenile offender, police say her identity will not be released and the case will be turned over to the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. Police now have surveillance video from the store in their possession.

"We're guarding our Blue Bell Ice cream for your Weekend party, what a great way to cool down in the Hot Texas heat!" the post said.

"We do not intend to pursue charges against her as an "adult" and therefore what happens from here is at the discretion of the juvenile justice system", Lufkin Police & Fire said on Facebook.

Lufkin Director of Public Safety Gerald Williamson said: "Our biggest concern is consumer safety - in that regard we are glad to see the tainted product off the shelves".

United States says latest Taliban talks 'most productive' so far
But Washington has made it clear the Taliban must talk with the Afghan government if they wish to seal a peace deal. Suhail Shaheen, a spokesman for the Taliban's office in Qatar, said they were also pleased with the discussions.

"We thank everyone for their assistance in this case including the San Antonio Police Department, Lufkin Police Department, Walmart and our customers who alerted us to this incident".

Meanwhile, Blue Bell, a company that has seen its fair share of bad press, is once again in the spotlight. We have spoken with her boyfriend, who is an adult, as well. He may face charges and police are discussing his involvement with prosecutors. "Out of an abundance of caution, we have also removed all Tin Roof half gallons from that location [.] Food tampering is not a joke, and we will not tolerate tampering with our products", the statement said.

In an email statement to NBC News, the Lufkin, TX police department says the woman faces a second-degree felony charge of tampering which comes with a prison term no less than 2 years and up to 20 years as well as up to $10,000 in fines.

Police had to eliminate the "catfish" along with almost six other women with similar screen names before confirming the identity of the actual suspect. You can call it Flu Bell ice cream now 'cause I was a lil sick last week.
