Huawei pushes back Mate X launch to September to conduct 'extra tests'

Huawei pushes back Mate X launch to September to conduct 'extra tests'

U.S. may try and influence some of the friendly nations, including the European Union not to deal with Huawei.

Following the USA government's decision to add Huawei and its affiliates on a trade blacklist, the Chinese tech company looks all set to launch its own Operating System (OS), Hongmeng.

Huawei has filed for a Hongmeng trademark in Cambodia, Canada, South Korea and New Zealand, data from the UN World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) showed.

Despite the expectation that the government will impose its own ban on Huawei with respect to 5G networks in Taiwan (for further details please see "Huawei's Deepening Dilemma in Taiwan"), Huawei's smartphone sales remained positive - that is, until the recent drop in support from USA tech companies such as Google, Qualcomm and industrial standards organisations.

One of the principal complaints from consumers is that once a Huawei smartphone is deprived of its Android operating system and Google services, it is no longer as "smart" as it should be.

The US official, meeting with officials in Europe to warn against buying Huawei equipment for next-generation mobile networks, said only time would tell if Huawei could diversify.

And cutting edge devices like it have helped Huawei become the second biggest smartphone maker in the world, according to market research. This license gives the Chinese company the right to continue to update their Android smartphones.

Hoddle believes Lampard is ready for Chelsea job
Maurizio Sarri's imminent departure has left the door wide open for Lampard to return to Chelsea five years after his departure. The legendary former Blues player was given a one-year contract when he returned to the club as assistant manager last summer.

At home, Huawei applied for a Hongmeng trademark in August previous year and received a nod last month, according to a filing on China's intellectual property administration's website.

Huawei's New OS - Hongmeng OS.

We're very happy of being part of the Android family, but Hongmeng is being tested, mostly in China.

The company is also looking at the Indian smartphone market which has touched 450 million smartphone users and has a great potential to grow.

I guess it goes without saying that over the past month, Huawei has been dealing with a massive problem.

According to reports, Huawei has apparently now finished building its own operating system and is in fact in the process of trademarking the new software in various countries around the world.

Huawei representatives in Peru declined to provide immediate comment, while the Chinese embassy in Lima did not respond to requests for comment.
