Watch 14 Minutes of Stunning STAR WARS: JEDI FALLEN ORDER Gameplay

The game is being made by Apex Legends and Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment and offers players a third-person, single player, story-driven Star Wars game set in a post Episode III world. Earlier this morning, as part of their EA Play 2019 event, Electronic Arts finally provided fans with a first look at some actual gameplay, thanks to a reveal trailer which shows off almost 15 minutes of juicy footage. Faced with impossible odds, Cal must scrounge up a resistance force and unlock the mysteries of the Jedi to ensure the Galactic Empire remains in check. Environmental objects seem to be free game for throwing around as well. We got to see several Force powers being used in the game including double flip or double jump, push, pull and slow (that slows down objects and projectiles). Set after the events of Revenge of the Sith, it follows a young Jedi named Cal Kestis, who helps out the Rebellion and grows in abilities over the course of the game - though he does not, unlike Kyle Katarn, have a choice between Dark Side and Light Side powers. We also saw lightsaber combat (which looks absolutely incredible) as well as usage of force abilities.

Players will meet Cal on Bracca, a brand-new Star Wars planet and one of several new locations introduced in the game.

Jedi Fallen Order focuses on a Padawan who escaped the Jedi purge that occurred when the Emperor instructed his troopers to execute Order 66.

For more background and all the details on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which will release on November 15, 2019 - check out everything we know so far about Jedi: Fallen Order, and let us know in the comments what you think of the gameplay reveal. Players will need to approach enemies strategically, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your Jedi training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path.

During the stream, the studio noted that the combat isn't "scripted" - you've always got a lot of control over what main character Cal is doing. Aided by a former Jedi Knight, a cantankerous pilot and a fearless droid, you must escape the evil machinations of the Empire in a story-driven adventure.

It begins on Kashyyyk under the heel of the Empire's boot, with Kal looking to restart the Jedi Order.
