Motorola One Vision official with 21:9 screen and 48MP camera

Motorola One Vision official with 21:9 screen and 48MP camera

After months of leaks and rumors, Motorola has finally launched its Motorola One Vision mid-range smartphone at an event in Brazil.

Motorola One Vision now official with hole-punch display, optical image stabilisation and more. Under the hood: a Samsung Exynos 9610 chipset and a 3.500mAh battery.

LENOVO-OWNED Motorola has joined in on May's phone launch frenzy with the unveiling of the One View. It's a gorgeous combination of glass and metal, sporting a full glass front and rear with a metal band and giving it a premium look when compared to similarly-priced products on the market at the moment. On the rear, there is also a circular fingerprint scanner. We've already seen this in action on a number of phones.

In the Vision's case, it's a long 6.3-inch FHD+ 21:9 screen (up from 19:9 in the Moto G7), with a narrower dimension for easier handling and a hole punch (bye-bye, notch).

Official Cause Of The 'Camp Fire' Released By Cal Fire
He called the release of the report symbolic because it has been long known that PG&E's equipment caused the fire. PG&E's bankruptcy reorganization plan is due by the end of May, but it has requested an extension until November.

Motorola's One Vision phone makes use of a clearer lens and an advanced camera system.

On board the Motorola One Vision is the Exynos 9609 chipset made by Samsung, which is a unusual, but also refreshing configuration. The phone packs 4GB of RAM and offers 128GB internal storage too. The rear camera can shoot 4K 30FPS videos. The primary camera also comes with a dedicated night mode.

Motorola is using what it calls "QuadPixel" technology here, which is marketing jargon for a process better known as pixel binning - for the unaware, that means the One Vision treats clusters of four pixels on the sensor as a single, bigger pixel for improved clarity and low-light performance. The Motorola One Vision is IP52-rated dust and water resistant.

On the software front, the Motorola One Vision runs stock Android 9 Pie out of the box. These phones are a stark contrast to Motorola's Moto G-series budget phones, which are generally set to receive only one Android version update in their lifespan. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, more. The only disappointment is that it's only available in two variants; Sapphire or Bronze, aka Blue or Brown. There you'll pay R $1,999.00 (Brazilian Real), which converts (right this moment) to around $501 United States dollars.
