Monster Hunter-like Dauntless officially launches next week

Phoenix Labs has finally now confirmed the Dauntless PS4 release date, with the Monster Hunter-style RPG hitting PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on May 21. According to today's press release, a new season titled Hidden Blades will accompany the launch, marking the conclusion of the game's one-year Open Beta period.

Among these additions and enhancements will be a Mastery system that enables Slayers to earn experience, hone their monster-hunting skills, and acquire an array of new rewards.

Massive Campaign Rework - Everything from questing and crafting to meeting other Slayers and pursuing Behemoths has received massive updates. This includes the new Mastery System that which provides a mastery card for each unique weapon and behemoth.

Cross-Progression (known as Cross-Save in the PlayStation community) will be enabled across PS4, Xbox One, and PC on launch, but Cross-Play will be limited to Xbox One and PC for now.
