IOS 13 will bring a huge dark mode update to iPhone

Citing people familiar with the development of iOS 13, 9to5Mac claims to have leaked major new features that Apple is probably building for its next mobile operating system.

A press release issued on Facebook Messenger website said, "After a month-long Easter Egg activation with countless crescent moon emojis, we are excited to announce that everyone around the world will be able to activate dark mode in Messenger with a simple toggle switch from settings".

We already heard the implementation of a system-wide Dark Mode for iOS devices that would be similar to what arrived on Mac machines through macOS 10.14 Mojave a year ago.

There will be a lot of iPad-specific changes in iOS 13, including the ability for apps to have multiple windows.

The clunky iOS undo function, which until now has involved shaking the device, may be usurped by a gesture. You'll swipe with three fingers in the keyboard area - left to undo, right to redo.

iOS 13 will reportedly feature a new volume HUD to replace the current design which obstructs half of the screen's view. iPads are also expected to receive a new standard undo gesture, as an alternative to the shake-to-undo.

Trump says Boeing should fix, 'rebrand' grounded 737 MAX jet
CNBC reported Boeing said Thursday it has completed 96 flights with the new Max software fix. The airline had originally canceled flights with MAX aircraft through April 20th.

It is also said that Apple is aiming to bring easy collaboration to third-party document-based apps. Mails found in the app can be categorized via specific sections such as marketing, purchases, travel, and even "not important" among others.

iOS 13 will have new gestures to select multiple items in table and collection views. It is said to be similar to clicking and dragging multiple files in Finder on a Mac.

To improve the split-view multitasking experience, Apple will be allowing developers to use light and dark status bar styles in their apps.

But wait, there's more. iOS 13 will also feature a redesigned Reminders app, better "Hey Siri" rejection, better multilingual support for keyboards and dictation, and expanded in-app printing controls, 9to5Mac explains.

Apple will unveil iOS 13 on June 3rd, and release the first beta version in the weeks following the event.
