Hit by an arrow, mobile phone dies saving an Australian man

The arrow pierced a mobile telephone during the accident in Nimbin

According to police, the only injury was a small laceration on the victim's chin caused by the momentum of the arrow's impact, which sent the phone flying into his face.

So, he took out his phone to snap a photo of the intruder, but the intruder fired an arrow at him. I shouldn't have done what I did. As the man raised his iPhone to take a photograph of the attacker then, he fired an arrow at the man that pierced right through the phone.

A confrontation occurred outside the man's house in Nimbin, which is approximately 110 miles south of Brisbane.

The resident reported that he held his smart phone up to take a picture of the man with a bow and arrow, police wrote.

He was granted conditional bail to appear in Lismore local court in mid-April.

Sadly, his screen protector was no match for the sharpened arrow.
