Ben Affleck Doesn't Care If You Hate His Back Tattoo

Celebrity Sightings In Los Angeles

Ben Affleck says he's personally "very happy" with his back tattoo.

The actor stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday to promote his new Netflix movie Triple Frontier, in which he plays a Special Forces vet alongside Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal, and gave a more general update on how things were going in his life too, after a tumultuous few years and his split from wife Jennifer Garner.

"It's meaningful to me, I like it", he said.

"I like it. It's something that I sort of kept private, I wasn't doing photoshoots or whatever".

"Rising out of your ass!"

Back in 2016, he told Mario Lopez the entire thing was a fake for an upcoming movie.

Giants Agree To 4-Year Deal With WR Golden Tate
According to National Football League reporter Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers might not be done in free agency yet. The Lions traded Golden Tate at the trade deadline past year because they didn't think they could re-sign him very easily.

But despite criticism, the "Argo" star stood by the ink, adding: "I love my tattoo".

But fans on Twitter breathed a sigh of relief at the actor's honesty past year when he admitted to having the tattoo, in response to a New Yorker article that posited a deep sadness within Affleck's deep sadness within him. "I actually do have a number of tattoos but I try to have them in places where you don't have to do a lot of cover up they get sort of addictive, tattoos, after a while".

"You know what we would say in my hometown about that?" "We didn't know the paparazzi was there so they got a picture of my tattoo and yeah the sentiment ran against". "I love my tattoo". "Luckily, I'm the one who has it", he said. My kids are healthy.

During his chat with DeGeneres, Affleck also opened up about his current state, explaining that he's feeling good.

OK, in that instance we're pretty sure he's alluding to his rehab for alcohol abuse and not the tattoo.

During his appearance, Ben spoke candidly about being grateful for all he has gone through since it's helped him get to the "great place" he's in now.
