'Breaking Bad' Movie Sequel Is Reportedly Coming to AMC and Netflix

In the movie, Pinkman, who's wrongfully kidnapped by perpetrators, manages to escape and sets out to live a free life. Now THR confirms that the film is a sequel following Jesse and that the film will air first on Netflix before running on AMC, the network that originally carried Breaking Bad.

"For Netflix and AMC to share the Breaking Bad followup is fitting as the two outlets share the credit for the success of the original series", the report reads.

Netflix and AMC did not immediately respond to a request for comment or confirmation. In fact, creator Vince Gilligan recognized how much the streaming service helped his series when he mentioned Netflix during his acceptance speech when Breaking Bad won Best Drama Series in 2013. Deadline's report says it's still unknown if the project will air as one feature film, or be cut into episodes.

First Teaser Trailer for Disney's Highly Anticipated Sequel 'Frozen 2'
The songs in " Frozen " were written and composed by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, a husband-and-wife songwriting team. Then, " Let It Go " plagued me for months, and I thought I'd never escape the cold tundra that Frozen had thrown us all into.

AMC's Breaking Bad ended its critically acclaimed five-season run with a finale that brought in a series record 10.3 million viewers. "Not only are we standing up here, I don't think our show would have even lasted beyond season two. It's a new era in television, and we've been very fortunate to reap the benefits". We're not sure if Cranston will return as Walter White - his character's end was, at best, ambiguous - but the actor has confirmed that he's at least seen the script, so maybe...? Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein, both of whom have worked with Gilligan on Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, are on board as producers.

Bryan Cranston, who played White, confirmed a Breaking Bad film was coming in an interview previous year. It was followed by the prequel series Better Call Saul, focused on Bob Odenkirk's small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill, which just got renewed for a fifth season.

Per the New Mexico Film Office, a film titled "Greenbrier" was scheduled to film in Albuquerque from November to mid-February.
