First poster for Disney's "Aladdin" live-action movie teases Genie's arrival

At last, we have our first glimpse of Disney's live-action remake of its 1992 animated classic Aladdin. As fans of the 1992 animated movie know, Aladdin frees Genie from the lamp and uses his first wish to become Prince Ali Ababwa, a worthy suitor for Princess Jasmine.

The live-action Aladdin started filming in September 2017, a few months delayed after a prolonged casting process. Smith shared the poster, which you can check out in the gallery below, on his Facebook, saying: "LEMME OUT!" It features the film's iconic lamp and a secret about what awaits inside it, as well as the warning "Choose wisely". Everyone's favorite big screen actor has shared a sneak peek at his upcoming Aladdin movie. Smith is playing the role of Genie, memorably voiced by Robin Williams in the original.

The "Aladdin" remake also stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. Aladdin plans to uses these wishes to win over the attractive Princess Jasmine, but the evil Jafar has other plans. It's one of the best films in what's known as the "Disney Renaissance", in which the House of Mouse returned to making animated musical films.
