Pet Sematary Trailer: What’s Dead Should Stay Dead

"Louis Creed", his wife, two children and cat are welcomed into their new home by a neighbor who warns them of the eerie "Pet Sematary" located near their home. The trailer starts off with suggesting, "sometimes dead is better" before unfolding the events of the scariest tale from the author.

Paramount Pictures on Wednesday released the official trailer for the remake of the Stephen King classic "Pet Sematary", due in theaters in April 2019.

Hollywood today is a lot like the animal graveyard in Stephen King's 1983 novel: nothing stays dead for long.

For who will be portarying these characters, it was announced that Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz playing Louis and Rachel Creed.

"Pet Sematary" didn't let sleeping dogs lie. They knew the power of that place. As much as we love Mary Lambert's 1989 iteration of Stephen King's bestselling novel, the upcoming film directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer (Starry Eyes) from a script penned by David Kajganich and Jeff Buhler has an nearly unbearably creepy tone and aesthetic.

Sam Querrey, Taylor Fritz both win in straight sets at Shanghai Masters
Coric will now face American qualifier Bradley Klahn, who sprung a surprise as he defeated Australia's Kyrgios 4-6 6-4 6-3. But a sloppy service game down 4-5 cost Kyrgios the set and he unravelled from there amidst a stretch of five lost games.

Zelda, a 10 year old girl, was actually played by a young Andrew Hubatsek under 14 hours worth of makeup.

"It's more accurate to the book, I'll just say that", Dennis Widmyer shared with Entertainment Weekly. That's true for horror movies, and especially so if it's a King property.

Take a look at the trailer above.

This film was greenlit in December of 2017, mere months after It, another King adaptation, became the highest-grossing horror film in history. Instead, it'll hone in on what makes the story so horrifying.
