First look at Ruby Rose as Batwoman no responses

First Image of Ruby Rose as Batwoman Reveals a New Caped Crusader

There's also a solo show in development for Rose's Batwoman for the 2019-20 television season.

The CW has unveiled our first look at Ruby Rose in her Colleen Atwood-designed Batwoman supersuit - and it looks very comic book accurate with the Bat-symbol, the cape, and, of course, Kate Kane's patented long red hair.

As the teens say these days, WIG.

In the Arrowverse crossover, which unites heroes across "Supergirl", "Arrow" and "The Flash", Kane is "an out lesbian and trained street fighter primed to snuff out [Gotham City's] criminal resurgence".

Senate Set to Close Debate on Kavanaugh Supreme Court Nomination
Before the vote, leaders of the chamber traded sharply divergent characterisations of whether Kavanaugh belongs on the court. Confirmation would be a crowning achievement for Mr Trump, his conservative base and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

The 2018 Elseworlds crossover event starts with a special episode of The Flash on Sunday, December 9 and continues with Arrow on Monday, December 10. Once established, Batwoman will receive her own standalone series overseen by Greg Berlanti, and scripted by Caroline Dries. Along with introducing Rose as Kate Kane, it will feature Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane and Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries.

Rose's Batwoman will be different from previous versions in popular culture, as her iteration will be an out lesbian. The actress silenced the complaints saying, "When women and when minorities join forces we are unstoppable... when we tear each other down it's much more hurtful than from any group".

She added: "I just wish women and the LGBT community supported each other more. Sending everyone my love and gratitude, it's been a rollercoaster of a year, this month especially", she continued. Unfortunately, some of the more negative reactions to Rose's casting were rather rude and harmful, leading to Rose ultimately deleting her Twitter account in order to avoid the negativity and hate. If the project went to series, Batwoman would be the first gay lead character in a live-action superhero TV show.
