Wayne Rooney pulled off an incredible counter-attacking play in D.C. United's crucial MLS victory over Colorado.

The former Manchester United star saved the day for D.C. United, who found themselves with no goalkeeper and facing certain defeat in the 95th minute.

Orlando, who were looking to break on a unsafe looking counter attack, were stopped in their tracks by a superb last-ditch sliding tackle from Rooney.

"Thankfully I got the tackle in, and Luciano with the great header", said Rooney.
