MacBook Pro keyboards may have gotten a secret upgrade

Apple holds a showcase for Mac Book Pro attended by creatives artists developers and scientists

At the moment, all major retail Apple Stores have got the stocks of the new MacBook Pro from Apple, though some smaller stores and regions are yet to receive stocks of some unit.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro with its six-core processors can now be configured with 32GB of RAM and your choice of Radeon Pro 4GB graphics chips so you've got plenty of headroom when working on complex extra-large project files or switching between a slew of professional apps.

It was a curious find considering the Apple description of its new MacBook did not mention making any technical changes to the keyboard. Surprisingly, the third compatible monitor is Apple's own Thunderbolt Display, which has been discontinued for several years now.

For those in Australia you'll be hit even harder, with the highest-specced MBP costing $6699 Dollars and a huge $10,339 AUD. But here's to hoping that the next generation of keyboards will completely fix the problem. While a more reliable keyboard is undeniably a great selling point, it makes sense that Apple is not shouting about it at the moment.

While Apple has not shouted about the dust-resistance of the updated keyboard, the silicone membrane uncovered by iFixit looks remarkably similar to a patent of Apple's for a method to "prevent and/or alleviate contaminant ingress". Before publishing their customary teardown video for new devices, their gadget experts found an interesting rubberized layer underneath the keycaps of the keyboard, according to a statement. Although this is just an opinion, iFixit has backed up its claim with an Apple patent, that shows the exact same design, even being labeled that the membrane was created to "prevent and/or alleviate contaminant ingress".

The Chicago Bulls sign forward Jabari Parker
It came mere minutes after the Milwaukee Bucks rescinded their qualifying offer to Parker, making him an unrestricted free agent. Although he's signed on for two years the Bulls have a team option in year two in case Parker's injury doesn't get better.
