Trump blasts May's Brexit strategy on UK visit

Donald Trump has warned Theresa May her Brexit blueprint will "kill" hopes of any future trade deal with the US.

On Nov. 29, 2017, Trump retweeted a series of anti-Muslim videos posted by Jayda Fransen, the deputy leader of Britain First, a far-right ultranationalist group, a move repudiated by almost every sector of British politics and society.

"With a lot of resignations", Mr Trump told a news conference at the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit in Brussels.

Trump, whose mother is from Scotland and owns property in Britain, is on his first to the United Kingdom as president, while May was the first foreign dignitary he met in Washington after his election.

May's proposal was finalized Friday. The president said on Tuesday, "I think they like me a lot in the United Kingdom". "As he said in his interview with the Sun she "is a very good person" and he 'never said anything bad about her, '" Sanders said in a statement.

The balloon was authorised by Khan, who has crossed swords with Trump several times after the president posted factually incorrect messages over a series of terror attacks in Britain in 2017.

He suggested this was not what voters wanted, said he had advised May to take another path and added that Boris Johnson, who quit as foreign minister over the plan, would make "a great prime minister".

May is trying to unify her deeply divided Conservative Party behind her Brexit plans with some of her own lawmakers openly speaking of a leadership challenge.

"The spirit of friendship and cooperation between our countries, our leaders and our people, that most special of relationships, has a long and proud history".

Chelsea officially dismiss Conte with Sarri waiting in the wings

However, it seems that U.S. President Donald Trump's upcoming visit to Britain may create more rifts than it can bridge for the two transatlantic allies. A YouGov poll on Wednesday showed 77 per cent had an unfavourable opinion of the president and just 50 per cent thought his visit should go ahead. I think they agree with me on immigration."He added: "I think that's why Brexit happened".

I think allowing millions and millions of people to come into Europe is very, very sad. "I think he has done a very bad job on terrorism", the president said. It was one of the more than 100 demonstrations planned across the country during his four-day stay.

However, while Mr Trump and Ms May exchanged warm words, tens of thousands of protesters marched against the USA president through central London, bringing much of the British capital to a standstill.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has urged those attending the protests not to cause trouble.

But as the pomp and ceremony unfolded at Blenheim Palace, the historic birth place of former British prime minister Winston Churchill, an interview Trump had given British tabloid The Sun was published.

The outdoor arrival ceremony at Blenheim - Trump wore a tuxedo and first lady Melania Trump a butter-yellow, chiffon off-the-shoulder gown - was a grand affair marked by a military band in bearskin hats, hundreds of business leaders in black tie and gorgeous setting sunlight.

The two leaders will hold talks at the Prime Minister's country residence of Chequers where Russia, Brexit and the Middle East will top the agenda.

Trump next heads to Windsor Castle later Friday for tea with the queen, as protesters stage a mass demonstration in London. He travels to Scotland for a private visit later tomorrow where he will also prepare for his summit in Helsinki with President Putin of Russian Federation.
