MacBook Pro 2018 keyboard may not fix sticky key problem

That seems to be the case with the new range of MacBook Pros it just announced just yesterday.

That's according to industry tipster Ming-Chi Kuo, who has published a new research note (via 9to5Mac) for investors that includes fresh details about what we can expect to launch from Cupertino this fall. Apple says that the keyboards in this 2018 update contain "third-generation" butterfly switches. The 15-inch variant, in particular, is aimed at pros as it is now available with up to 4TB storage, 32GB RAM, and a Core i7 or i9 processor featuring 6 physical cores.

"The MacBook Pro 13 is priced from RM7,499 while the 15" version is priced from RM9,999 in Malaysia. "These are Apple's most powerful notebooks which they claim to be 70% more powerful for the 15" version and at least double the performance for the 13" model. "The T2 handles solid-state storage controller tasks and on-the-fly disk encryption, and it allows the 15" MacBook Pro to house SSDs as large as 4 TB and the 13" model to stuff in as much as 2 TB of NAND. Apple also points out that the retooled MacBook Pro can compile code faster and run multiple virtual machines and test environments easier than ever. Apple also added an updated custom chip called the T2, which provides better security and brings the voice-controlled "Hey Siri" option to the Mac for the first time.

On the design side, nothing has changed in the MacBook Pro. The loud keyboard was one of the first things I noticed when I started using my 2016 MacBook Pro. For graphics, it gets a Radeon Pro discrete graphics with 4GB of GDDR5RAM.

Kremlin rejects Trump's description of Germany as Russian 'captive'
Bush, told UPI it's naïve to try to decouple energy from political issues. "We discussed it with Ukraine, [for example]". Andriy Shevchenko, Ukraine's ambassador to Canada, said he was "very pleased" with Freeland's statement Wednesday.

The new MacBook Pro also gains improved graphics processors.

A research note from reliable Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo of KGI Securities published Thursday indicates there will be some upgrades this fall, though Apple may replace the MacBook Air with a "low-cost" MacBook model, 9to5Mac reported.

In November of a year ago, Marco Arment, the co-founder of Tumblr and developer behind popular apps like Instapaper and Overcast, wrote a post that spread like wildfire, expressing how many Macbook Pro users felt when Apple announced the new Touch Bar model with its 2016 Macbook Pro refresh.
